Webroot SecureAnywhere for Mac OS X 10.7 and later

  • To activate the webroot safe, you must exchange your webroot product key, which you will find in your registered mail id. Create a Webroot protected account to support the Webroot key code together with the key webroot activation subscription.

You can enter SecureAnywhere on Mac OS X 10.7 or later. An internet institution is required to enter the subject.

    To enter a product:

    • Double-click wsamac.dmg to open the installer.
    • Drag the Webroot SecureAnywhere symbol to the program organizer.
    • Open the application organizer by double-clicking the envelope symbol.
    • In the application organizer, double-click the Webroot SecureAnywhere emblem to start activation.
    • In the main activation window select the language starting from the drop-down box and click Next.
    • Choose the perfect language. Once introduced, SecureAnywhere cannot be converted.
    • In the main approval window, enter your access code and confirm the option I agree and install. When purchasing a product online, the access code is provided in an e-mail from Webroot. If you buy items in the store, the access code is provided in the box. What's more, the access code distinguishes whether you have obtained multi-client authorization, allowing you to enter SecureAnywhere on up to five or three Macs. Establishment proceeds regardless of whether you click Cancel.)
    • If inciting, confirm the institution by entering your secret Apple Framework key and click OK.
    • In the next board, you should start creating a Webroot account. You may need to create a list with the probability of disabling that you intend to use the Password Management award (see First steps in using Password Manager for more information). Or on the other hand, you can click Skip and make a list later.
    • If you click Create Account, the application opens on the SecureAnywhere account creation page. Enter the required data and click Register now. For more information on creating records, see Creating a Webroot Account.
    • The next board naturally begins the Safari expansion, which enables SecureAnywhere to label query items as shielded, sketchy or poisonous. With this development, SecureAnywhere informs you whether a website is known for distributing malicious software or malicious tasks. We suggest that you simply click the Trust button. (Regardless, you can click Cancel and present it later, enabling protection against Internet threats, as shown in Changing Internet Threat Protection settings.)
    • In the Safari stock market, click the Trust button.
    • If you have the Full or Internet Security Plus version, Safari asks if you need to enter the "Secret Key Supervisor" extension, which includes password management features (for more information, see Getting started in Password Manager). Snap Trust about the probability of disabling the most important password management functions.
    • The stock exchange is opening to present the Password Manager in your program.
    • If 2 extensions are entered, two Webroot symbols appear on the application toolbar. The model below shows how the symbols display in Chrome; Firefox symbols look slightly changed. (you can move the mouse cursor over the logo to display images).
    • This symbol shows that the Internet threat shield is strengthened. See Using security against online threats.
    • This symbol shows that all password management functions are enabled. It grayed out when you initially presented growth. In case you just created a record, you can press the symbol and enter your login certificates to start using Password Management. See Getting started with Password Manager.
    • SecureAnywhere begins assessing your Mac for infections, spyware and other potential threats. In case it identifies dangers while sweeping, it forces you to move objects for isolation. In isolation, things become unusable and can never harm your frame or seek advice. For more data, see Managing detected threats.
    • In the Scan Complete window, then click Close.

The basic window will open. For more data, see Using the SecureAnywhere interface.

After a basic operation, SecureAnywhere naturally evaluates your Mac every day and always monitors traffic while surfing the Internet. You don't have to send your own results or schedule. SecureAnywhere does almost everything for you.
